The manuscript is back from the proof reader. At the moment it is with the original editor and he is going through it to see what the proof reader has suggested. From the brief conversation I have had, I understand that most of the things altered were spellings. (Words that needed changing to the American way of spelling.)
Now all I can do is wait until a clean copy comes back to me. I then have to read it through again, just case something isn't quite right. At the moment I can't settle. I have finished reading a lovely book by Linda Green. It is called And Then It Happened. If you haven't read it, I suggest you get yourself a copy. It is brilliant. I have got another book here to start reading, but I don't really want to begin for fear my manuscript comes winging back to me for my comments.
Does any of the above make sense? I write as I think, which is off the top of my head and this is not always a good thing. So you are forgiven, if you go away from this blog as totally confused as I am!
I think I am going to quit now while I am ahead. More news, as and when!
